The NGO Council of Kenya is calling on the people of Kakamega county,Mombasa County and Pokot south,POKOT North Constituencies to participate peacefully in voting during the Monday 29th august 2022 Elections and Elect leaders of their choice during the Important day the NGO Council is conducting a Peace drives across the country to underscore the need to remain united and peaceful as the country awaits the declaration of the 5th president.
The NGO Council through Wananchi Peace initiative mobilizes Kenyans of all walks of life to take part in mobilizing all Kenyans to remain calm as the supreme court handles on the August 9 presidential race.
The NGO Council maintains that a petition should in no way divide the country and that life would go on even as the process is awaited.
The NGO Council notes that the country should move on in building a nation.
