HakiJamii promoting the right to adequate housing

Hakijamii commissioned the Volume 3 on the state of housing in Kenya ,with a call for affordable housing for the hustler group.

Speaking during the report launch in Nairobi, Hakijamii Exercutive director Ms Amina Hashi says its the right to adequate housing and basic need and services for all kenyans.

The report seeks to take stock of achievements and challenges faced in implementation of the affordable housing programme during the year 2019-2021 with specific focus in Nairobi.

“We are in the forefront in championing for the right to adequate and affordable housing including reasonable standards for communities”, Hashi says

The state of housing report is to review the government housing programme between 2017-2022.
