East Africa Debt Holding system intend to inject and develop professional debt collection practices in Kenya and across East Africa.
James Kayago, the CEO of Debt Holding System was speaking to journalists in Nairobi during the inaugural conference which brought together, creditors,Financial institutions and other stakeholders, he said their goal is to reduce the level of toxic assets in Kenya’s financial institutions.
East Africa Debt Holding is part of Debt Holding Group, an international network of professional collection agencies headquatered in UAE-Dubai.
Mr. Nikolay Melnikov who was also in attendance said they will ensure tax collection is done fairly between the collectors and the debtors.
The key objective after the conference will be to develop the school of professional collector and to develop financial literacy among the Kenya population.
