Migori Governor Hon Ochilo Ayako has appeal to the government to first track devolved fundings to follow the devolved projects.
He said counties development process have sufferd as a result of delayed funding by exchaque.
However,at the moment the Governor have said there are several pending bills including health,roads and water that needs the be passed by the parliament to ensure,counties keep up to the promises.
Speaking to journalists in Naivasha during the Governor’s Summit attended by President Ruto, the Governor said ,”We had a progressive discussion and agreed that the national government and county governments must end the stalemate of delay to fundings,”he added
He said let the exchaque ensure counties get adequate resources follows devolved fundings.
At least 20 counties including Turkana, Wajir, Kwale and West Pokot will get more of the additional allocations by the Treasury and international donors after legislators approved the disbursement schedule for the 2022/2023 finance.
