Bahati Member of Parliament The Honorable Irene Njoki has rolled up her sleeves in a bid to lead by example in her constituency, Bahati.
She notes
“The ongoing heavy rainfall has continued to cause havoc in different parts of Bahati Constituency. Kabatini ward is one of the most affected . Hon Irene Njoki has started emergency measures to reduce on the damage caused by the heavy rainfall.
Today, the blocked drainage trench at Kabatini center and culverts along kabatini center to forest were opened to direct the rain water to Mathare river and prevent more damages.
More emergency measures along all KERRA roads under the Mp will be initiated whenever the need arises.Hon Irene Njoki is also calling upon all Bahati residents to be extra careful during this rainy season.”
