The National Drought Management Authority on Tuesday received a donation.
On their page they noted,
“@NDMA_Kenya received a boost to its fleet today following handing over of a vehicle to support implementation logistics of the Towards Ending Drought Emergencies @Twendeproject. CEO @HaredAHassan received the vehicle from @IucnE Regional Programme Coordinator.
@Twendeproject is funded by @theGCF, with International Union for Conservation of Nature as the accredited entity. It’s implemented by various players, including @NDMA_Kenya, which is implementing βClimate change adapted planning for drought resilienceβ component in 11 counties.
The handing over ceremony was also marked by tree planting in line with the overall project goal
