Coordination and cooperation among Ministries and State Departments is crucial to ensuring coherence and complementarity in the actualization of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and promotion of effective and efficient service delivery.
Today, on a morning courtesy call to his office, the principal Secretary in the state department of East Africa affairs Abdi Dubat held talks with colleague Principal Secretary Transport, Mohamed Daghar.
Later, he joined the Hon. Cabinet Secretary for East Africa Community, ASALs & Regional Development the Hon CS Rebecca Miano, MBS in a meeting with her counterpart in the Ministry of Roads, Transport & Public Works, Kipchumba Murkomen.
The Hon PS Dubat noted,
“Our discussions centred around improving regional infrastructure to reduce mobility constraints for cross-border transport and trade.”
