Mary Maingi Cares

The Government has been keen to strive towards the realization of Universal Health Care, as led by President William Ruto.
Various leaders have also thrown their weight behind this noble cause one of them notably being Mwea Constituency Member of Parliament Mary Maingi, who over the weekend offered a free specialized medical camp at Kimbimbi Ward.
The MP observed:
“This camp was made possible through focussed collaboration with our partners; the Mater Hospital and the Kenya Airports Authority, to whom we are most grateful.”
The Kenyan government has always reaffirmed its commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030, a vital concept that aims to ensure access to quality health services without financial hardship.
The focus is on shifting the healthcare system from a curative approach to a preventive and promotive one, with counties playing a pivotal role in this transition. The Ministry of Health is committed to supporting counties in delivering quality healthcare services to their citizens, ensuring that no one is left behind in the quest for UHC.
